On October 24th, the Nottingham Health and Care Awards, hosted by the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System and Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy were held at a ceremony at the University of Nottingham. The awards recognised the work of individuals and organisations from across the health, care and voluntary sector.
The SSBC Family Mentors were really delighted to be awarded the Social Value Award – for services which could demonstrate social value by delivering sustainable health and care services, supporting communities with issues such as the rising cost of living or by improving employment opportunities. The judges felt that the entry showed strength in its ability to provide real evidence of the outcomes and impact the service has on the lives of families they work with.
We’ve always been proud of our Family Mentor Service and what they achieve on a daily basis, having others recognise the work they do adds the icing on the cake!
