We were thrilled to receive 3 years Children In Need funding to support our free activities for local children and young people.  We were then contacted by the Radio Nottingham breakfast show producers in relation to their Children In Need challenge for this years BBC appeal.

The 2 breakfast show presenters were undertaking a 3-legged walk from Bulwell to the Robin Hood statue at Nottingham Castle and they wanted to start the challenge from our wonderful Room to Play.  

So, it was an early start and we were joined by local parents and young people from Bulwell Academy. In true Toy Library style, healthy breakfast snacks and drinks were available to fuel the presenters on their way (and keep the supporters energy up!).
